In our opinion, it’s a fantastic base for travelling to York. It has excellent location, very close to botanical gardens and other local attractions.

We had a great value for our money at Priestley House City Centre- Free Parking. The room was beautifully decorated with comfortable beds and both bathrooms had excellent showers. The location was perfect, close to the city walls, Minster, shops, restaurants. The staff treated us well and dealt with any issues promptly.

This place is absolutely mind-blowing! The property is incredibly well-maintained and the location is jaw-dropping. It's super close to all the restaurants, pubs, and places of interest. The communal areas are so comfortable and the cleanliness is top-notch! The beds are so comfy and the quality of the linens and towels is impressive. The kitchen equipment is of a very high standard and the flat-screen TV is an added bonus. It's also great to have free Wi-Fi and handicap parking available. this place is a hidden gem and I would definitely book again.

It was an added bonus that the hotel was located right in the city center, making it convenient to explore all the nearby attractions like the Minster. a fantastic stay!
